When should we come?

Bordered to the west by the Atlantic Ocean, Arcachon is bathed in the mild oceanic climate and the Gulfstream. The 2,200 hours of sunshine per year bring the Mediterranean region closer to the south. The elegant city reveals its charms throughout the year: in summer, its unique position between ocean, ponds, forests and pine forests, makes of it a very privileged natural site; in the winter, its charming villas contain the memory of the Belle Epoque.

Good to know!

Winter is limited to December, January and February but it can be cool in Arcachon and beware of cold winds that can quickly bring down temperatures. But the wind has an advantage, that of chasing the clouds to make way for the beautiful weather!
